Hey everyone, I need some legal guidance regarding my mother’s Aadhaar DOB correction. Her actual birth year is 1971, but her Aadhaar shows 1961. Initially, when Aadhaar was made, the year was entered as 1975, and later someone got it updated to 1961 (not sure why). Now, when we try to change it again online, the request gets rejected, saying the update limit has been exhausted. We also went to the local Aadhaar Seva Kendra, and even they tried to raise a manual request, but it got rejected from the main office (UIDAI). We have her birth certificate with the correct date, but it doesn’t have her surname, since she changed it after marriage. The reason we need to fix this is that her health insurance policy has the correct DOB (1971), and we don’t want to face any issues later during claim processing in case of an unfortunate situation (I don't know what all docs are required at that time). How can we legally get the Aadhaar DOB changed?
